I’ve been hunting for about as long as I can remember.

My dad started taking me into the woods when I was around three years old. At that age, I obviously wasn’t doing much hunting. I was just along for the ride. But those early mornings, long sits, and time spent outside became a part of who I was.

And they stuck.

As I got older, hunting changed for me. Filling a tag was still exciting (and always will be) but it stopped being the reason I wanted to go.

I started enjoying the pursuit more than the kill.

The preparation. Checking the weather one more time. Looking at maps. Hanging stands. Watching the woods wake up in the morning. Sitting through an entire season for a few seconds when everything finally comes together.

And sometimes, it doesn’t.

That became part of it too.

Eventually, I started carrying a camera with me. I’m far from a professional photographer or filmmaker, but I loved trying to capture what hunting actually felt like—not just the grip-and-grin at the end.

That turned into Huntographer, a YouTube channel and creative outlet where I could document hunts, wildlife, and time outdoors.

HNTR grew out of that same appreciation.

I wanted something that represented hunting without needing to scream hunting. Something influenced by the outdoors but comfortable outside of it. Something I would actually want to wear whether I was headed to the woods, working around the house, grabbing dinner, or spending the day with my family.

So I started HNTR.

There’s no massive company behind it. No elaborate origin story. Just a lifelong hunter who loves the outdoors, likes making things, and decided to see where an idea could go.

At the center of it are four words:

Hunt. Nature. Trust. Respect.

Not a slogan as much as a reminder of what this whole thing should represent.

The pursuit matters.

The places matter.

The people you share them with matter.

And if you happen to fill a tag along the way?

That’s a pretty damn good bonus.
